Aging, muscle loss… and what you can do about it.

After the age of 30 we lose 3–8% of lean muscle.This causes a significant decrease in our metabolic rate,our strength and our ability to burn fat. Losing lean muscle mass also causes a domino effect which affects all other parts of your body. For example,a decreased metabolism means your body is not getting the fuel it needs to repair and replace damaged cells and tissues.
